Times New Roman Formed Plastic Sign Letters

Times New Roman plastic building letters are used for outdoor signage of business names or address numbers. The 3D letters can be custom made in different sizes and colors. In 1931, Stanley Morrison wrote a letter to the Times of London, criticizing the quality of the publications printing and typography. The Times then commissioned him to design a new style. The paper's original style was called Times Old Roman, so the redesigned typeface was called Times New Roman. Other Times variants are related to the work done for the Times of London newspaper.
