What is the Magic Master Next Generation sidewalk sign?

Magic Master, the leader in sidewalk signs since 1943, introduces the Next Generation in sidewalk signs that have many advanced features. The high-density plastic bases are durable and outdoor rated, with sleeker, rounded corners. The A-Frame Plus and Uni-Leg sign bases are made from high impact plastic with structural design elements that reduce its weight, resists warping, twisting and bowing. Both sign holder bases include wheels.

What are the advantages of the A-Frame Plus and Uni-Leg sign bases?

The BIG Wheel module system is what makes the A-Plus and Uni-Leg the best sidewalk message board on the market. Simply tip back the sign and the wheel modules slip down to engage. There are four oversize 3 inch wheels that roll over almost any store environment obstacle so your message board glides to the sidewalk. Our competitors use just two small wheels that can get stuck on a pebble. When the the sign is standing upright the wheel modules lock in its cradle and it sits on its feet.

What size sign faces do the Magic Master Next Generation sidewalk sign hold?

The Next Generation sidewalk sign which uses the Uni-Leg base holds either a 24W x 36H or 48W x 36H sign face. The sign faces can be a printed image or a changeable message board. You can use a double-sided swinging message board or two QLA sandwich board style message boards. The Magic Master Swinger attracts attention by its gentle swinging motion and the Magic Master QLA faces have a lower profile.

Can I use my old message faces with the Magic Master Next Generation sidewalk bases?

Magic Master has streamlined its most popular sign holder bases and now offers either a 24W x 36H or 48W x 36H corrugated sign face. Magic Master has discontinued the Springer, Tip-N-Roll and Rolling Bases as these items have become redundant by the Next Generation sidewalk features. Magic Master no longer offers parts such as Poster-Grip holders, chalkboards, Write-On faces for the discontinued lines. But the message boards and letter kits are still available.

How much wind can the Magic Master sign bases withstand?

Magic Master sign bases are designed for winds up to 30 - 40 mph. In high wind conditions, you can bring the sign in or add ballast (sand) to its base. There are four ballast ports that hold up to 2 quarts of water inside each leg for additional weight and wind resistance. We recommend using common sense for use in stormy weather, including high winds, rainstorms, extreme heat, freezing temperature or snow storms.
