Flat Cut Metal Sign Letters

Our computer-driven waterjet cuts each letter to precision from a flat sheet of aluminum, bronze or brass. The flat sheet of metal comes in thickness up to one inch depending on the metal. A waterjet cut letter or logo is made using a fine, high stream of water that carries a mineral. This fine stream cuts the metal and allows for sharp inside corners, small letters, and intricate detail on logos.

Aluminum Letters

Natural satin aluminum flat cut letters are made using a jet of fine, high pressure stream of water that carries an abrasive mineral. Flat cut metal letters uses aluminum Alloy 5052 that is a superior metal for signage because of its strength, hardness and corrosion resistance against weather extremes particularly in marine areas. This aluminum alloy has a tensile strength of 38,000 psi! The aluminum comes in a flat sheet 1/8 inch thick and is placed on a table where a computer driven waterjet cuts each letter to precision.

Bronze Letters

Natural satin bronze flat cut letters are made using a jet of fine, high pressure stream of water that carries an abrasive mineral. Flat cut metal character uses bronze Alloy C22000 that is a superior metal for signage because of its strength and hardness. The bronze comes in a flat sheet 1/8 inch thick and is placed on a table where a computer driven waterjet cuts each letter to precision.

Brass Letters

Flat cut brass letters are made using a jet of fine, high pressure stream of water that carries an abrasive mineral. The 1" style flat cut metal character uses Alloy C46400 Naval Brass that is a superior metal for outdoor signage because of its strength and hardness against weather extremes particularly in marine areas. The Brass comes in a flat sheet 1/8 inch thick and is placed on a table where a computer driven waterjet cuts each letter to precision.
