Increased viewing area
The sliding glass doors increase the viewing area of the 48W x 36H enclosed bulletin board because the tempered glass doors overlap and do not need a divider. This type of enclosed bulletin board is great for narrow or high traffic corridors because the doors slide parallel to the mounting surface, unlike the hinged units which swing out.
Tempered glass, quiet ball bearings, glides easily
The 1/4 inch tempered glass glides easily on non-rusting nylon rollers which are quieter than ball bearings. There are recessed finger pulls centered on each side. Lockable door (ratchet lock) protects against vandalism while controlling access to posting surface. Two keys included.
Stronger framing system
The sliding glass bulletin board display case corners are mitered and reinforced with locking brackets. The frame casing is constructed with a natural satin extruded anodized aluminum frame, which is manufactured with alloy 6063-T6, a superior metal for signage because of its strength, hardness and corrosion resistance.
Custom frame colors
The frame is natural satin aluminum in color. We can custom powdercoat the frame with another color as a special order. Please contact us for more details.
Easy to install without ruining your new cabinet
Easy to install so that your cabinet sits plum and your doors slides flush. First attach a cleat (provided) to your wall and place the bulletin board sign cabinet over the cleat. There is a recessed area on the back of our cabinet that will fit tightly onto the cleat. Then attach angle brackets with fasteners to the bottom of the cabinet. Includes mounting hardware (no fasteners).
Stylish posting surface
A top-quality, 1/32 inch self-sealing natural cork is laminated to 7/16 inch fiberboard which slides into the case channel. The cork board can be optionally covered with fire retardant fabric to create a colorful, stylish posting surface. The fire retardant fabric complies with NFPA Standard No. 101 CLASS A.
Optional deeper cabinet
The case comes standard 2-1/4 inch depth but is available in an optional 3-1/4 inch depth. The deeper cabinet dimension allows you to post or display larger items. The case dimensions are 48W x 36H. The main case frame is 1 inch wide. This reduces the visible area to 46W x 34H. The interior space between the door and the cork board is 1-5/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch with the deeper 3-1/8 inch cabinet.
