Unlike an outdoor sign letter that can be hard, rounded or shiny, the texture of this dimensional letter is rich, smooth and upscale. These dimensional plastic laminated foam letters are great for lobbies, offices, medical buildings, attorneys, museums, banks, health care facilities, and retail fixtures.
Dimensional letters stand out
These 6 inch metal laminated foam sign letters are manufactured from 15lb polystyrene foam sandwiched between two thin surfaces of wood fiber veneer, then topped with a Wilsonart metal laminate. The Wilsonart high pressure laminated foam letters are available in gold, silver, copper or bronze colors, in a polished or brushed finish. Wilsonart is the same material used for counter tops. The exceptionally hard smooth surfaces of the Wilsonart laminate provides durability and rigidity as well as moisture resistance. The letter's face is uniform and blemish free and resists dents and punctures.
This is an interior product only as UV rays break down the polystyrene.
Superior edge quality
Letters are cut by a computer driven cutter that produces crisp edges. The sides have sharp 90° corners, not rounded over. The high density foam produces high quality, smooth edges, not bubbly or cellulose that looks like a sponge. The sides are available in 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch or one inch thick and can be painted in any of 66 matte colors. The thicker the letter, the more it will stand off the wall.
Easy Installation
Letters are easily mounted with sticky back adhesive which is included on the back of each letter. Some circumstances require a temporary adhesive like trade show displays, leased office space, or department stores with flex space. The glue we provide is a temporary glue used for repositioning letters during set-up. Our glue needs to be cracked or scored along its back, then press in place. If required, add your own adhesive such as silicone or double sided tape for permanent installation.
