This is a 8 inch Modern Style Letter on 9-7/8" Clear Panel. The Modern letter style is one of our most popular. It is a bold, easy to read letter style with a 3:5 width ratio. It is a block style letter and the characters have squared off corners.

Superior high-impact, non-yellowing, acrylic panel

This is a superior changeable marquee sign letter because we use a high-impact, non-yellowing, non-clouding, shatter-resistant acrylic panel. The acrylic panel is precision router cut for perfect letter spacing and alignment (other brands are just saw cut and have rough edges). The chemical properties make the acrylic panel remain the cleanest and most consistent. We do not use regrinds.

Thick, rigid acrylic panel

The marquee alphabet sign letters for changeable readerboards will not bend or blow out of the sign track. The letters are .080 thick which is 30% thicker than a leading competitor. The letters are designed to push up into the top track then drop down onto the bottom track. These letters can be used with suction cups on change pole arms for arial marquee signs. These are thick, rigid letters not the thin, flexible letters used on portable signs.

Long lasting, non-fading color inks

We use UV resistant inks that are screen printed on the outside face of the acrylic panel which prevents the ink from scratching when sliding the marquee letter along the sign track. The sign letter is then over printed with an additional layer of UV clear coat, an additional step that ensures a scratch and fade resistant marquee letter. We do not use water soluable photocopying inks that fade in sunlight. Other manufacturers state that their inks are UV cured which is a drying process not an ink characteristic.

This item ships UPS Ground to the continental US and once shipped, normally takes 2-5 business days to arrive in transit. UPS is one of the largest shipment and logistics companies in the world. UPS delivers more than 15 million packages a day to more than 6.1 million customers with exceptional real time tracking and notifications.

UPS offers the best value for medium size packages. UPS has been moving towards a dimensional weight pricing model where the shipping charges are calculated on the package weight, package dimensions and area delivered. The UPS shipping cost is calculated at check-out and adds to the cost of the order.

Shipping to AK and HI needs to be quoted and we will email you an invoice for the total cost before the order is processed. We are not set up for international shipments. We do not ship COD or bill to third parties.

I like the letters with the exception of the 1's were the same as the I. I called customer service and they sent me 3 1's that were from a different font option so I am happy they took care of that for me. My only other problem is to get dashes and comma's I have to order a punctuation kit which has a bunch of stuff I dont want or need, or order a minimum of 30 individual characters. I would be much happier if I could order like 10 singles and not have to spend another $100 to get what I need

We ordered the wrong letter size the first time. Alphabet Signs helped us return the order and purchase the correct letters. Although we ended up having to process two different orders, they did give us a refund which was nice considering the restocking fee and shipping charges that apply to returns. Overall, the letters were what we were looking for. The right size, durable and good quality. We will think of Alphabet Signs first when the time comes to order letters again.
