LED wide angle illuminated pods

This sign is illuminated from around the inside perimeter of the cabinet with wide angle LED lights that spill illumination across the viewing area. LED lights provide longer life, better illumination and are less expensive to operate. The 10,000 hour, UL listed, LED wide angle illuminated pods are driven with a mounted LED power supply. The wires from the power supply are left prepped for a trained electrician to hardwire with 110 volts. The lighting is attached to the inside of the case and is covered by framing so it is not exposed to the viewing area. The unit uses LED lights which are widely available and easily replaced.

Stronger framing system

Our cabinet casing is a structural element that holds the letter board in its channel. The channel makes the board easily removable and replaceable. Our competitors use the letter board to hold their frame casing together, thus you cannot replace it without destroying it.

The enclosed letter board display case corners are mitered and reinforced with locking brackets. The frame casing is constructed with a natural satin extruded anodized aluminum frame, which is manufactured with alloy 6063-T6, a superior metal for signage because of its strength, hardness and corrosion resistance.

Easy to install without ruining your new cabinet

Easy to install so that your cabinet sits plum and your doors swing flush. First attach a hangers (provided) to your wall and place the letter board sign cabinet on the hangers. Mark location for the upper hangers, remove the sign cabinet and install the upper hangers to the wall. Place the cabinet between the wall hangers and attach with screws provided. The installer will have to provide the appropriate wall fasteners based on type and thickness. Includes mounting hardware (no wall fasteners).

Grooved board holds standard plastic directory letters

The directory board is made from 1/2 inch thick fiberboard with grooves cut on every 1/4 inch increment and covered with felt that is pleated into the grooves which slides into the case channel. The letter board holds the standard plastic directory letters with molded tabs.

Shatter-resistant high-impact acrylic window

The door includes solid disc tumbler lock to protect against vandalism while controlling access to posting surface. The locking mechanism is fastened in place. Two keys are included. The door frame holds a durable, 1/8 inch shatter-resistant high impact acrylic window with UV inhibitors so messages can be seen but not touched. The window sits in a mechanically fastened channel. This makes the window easy to replace if vandalized.

Full length piano hinge

This two door unit is mounted with full-length piano hinges. The case dimensions are 60W x 36H and 3-1/8 inch depth. The main case frame is 1 inch wide and the door frame is 1-1/2 inch. This reduces the visible area to 55W x 31H, an optional header further reduces the visible area. The interior space between the door and the cork board is 1-5/8 inch.
