Enclosed Directory Letter Boards

You can use changeable letters on the felt letter boards in sizes from 1/2 inch up to 3 inches. These boards are grooved every 1/4 of an inch so the double tabbed letters or single tabbed letters will work on these letter boards. The tabs, or pins, on the larger letters will span across the letter board grooves. We offer one-half, three-quarter, one inch, 1-1/2 inch, two and three inch letter kits. A 5/16 letter kit is out of production and we don't know anyone that made 1/4 inch letters.

Many customers want an unframed letter board to use for their custom application or ask if we could sell them just the felt material. The letter boards are produced in a factory with custom saws designed to score the grooves every quarter inch. The felt or vinyl material is then sprayed with a light adhesive and pleated into the grooves. Next, an aluminum band is wrapped around the cut letter board panel to keep the felt from unfurling. The frame also keeps the board from bowing in transit. You can reframe the letter board once it arrives but it will void the one year warranty.

You can upgrade an old or neglected letter board without having to pay for a new one with a custom size letter board panel. Or you can change your existing enclosed board to an information center but adding an insert panel. We offer custom felt or vinyl letter boards in different sizes and colors. We can cut the board to your specifications on one-quarter inch increments and the size of the board includes an aluminum band. The largest panel we can produce is 48" x 72".
