Used with any standard 1/4 inch grooved changeable letter board, each character has a precision molded tab on its top and bottom to firmly grip the letter board surface. Characters are individually sorted in a compartment tray with a sturdy cardboard box.

Plenty of letters, just way to small for an outdoor sign. They come in a plastic tray and it was shipped in a bubble envelope. The tray was cracked I'm keeping the letters for backups but I'll probably not use them on an outdoor sign that people drive past. A lot smaller that I was expecting but plenty of letters and symbols

They're a little flimsier than I had hoped for that price and not all of the bits have been removed from the press . If you try to move the letters the tabs sometimes break off.

I think the directory board is nice looking and sturdy. I love the polycarbonate window and I like the fact that the door locks to prevent tampering. The price of the board is reasonable. The plastic letters that you must buy in addition to the board are overpriced in my opinion. Regarding shipping, I am accustomed to free shipping these days from many sellers so I thought shipping was expensive, but I am happy with the delivery time. I got the board much sooner than I was expecting. This is my first purchase from them but overall I am satisfied with alphabet signs. Expensive for what you get. I am sure they can manufacture these plastic letters for less than a few cents each. But if you need them you need them. Not much you can do about it but complain and hope a competitor shows up.
