Vinyl stickers come pre-spaced on a wax liner. Installing custom decals is 4 step process but basically you just peel and paste to apply. A squeegee applicator included with each order. First clean the surface you are applying the vinyl sign letters to. It needs to be a smooth non-porous surface. Second, tape the vinyl decal along one side. Third, flip over the decal and remove wax liner. And lastly, squeegee decal and remove transfer tape.

The font has been carefully designed to allow a viewer's eye to easily see the shape of each character. Not each character in a font is exactly the same size; otherwise your sign lettering would be difficult to read. We name the font after its uppercase letter 'A' size but most lowercase letters are shorter. Some lowercase letter shapes such as 'b d f h k l' have ascenders which can be taller than the uppercase 'A' height. Some lowercase letters such as 'g j p q y' have descenders which go below the words baseline. Uppercase letters that are rounded such as 'C G J O Q S U' are taller than an uppercase 'A' because the rounded part extends above and below the baseline. When business owners purchase vinyl letter for their companies, many are left wondering how to properly apply the custom decal to a chosen surface. The process begins with preparing the area.
The process starts with preparing your surface. It's important to wipe clean all application surfaces with an alcohol-based cleaner. This will rid the surface of any harmful material that may be lingering around. Additionally, the room temperature should be between 45° and 90° Fahrenheit before beginning the application process. The target site for your lettering should not be too humid, as it could negatively impact the application.
After your surface is properly prepared, apply a strip of masking tape on the top of your custom vinyl graphic. This will ensure that it stays in place during application.
Flip over the decal and hold the bottom edge of the graphic away from the application surface. Then expose the sticky vinyl backing by removing the wax liner.
Use the included squeegee to press the vinyl letters on the area where you want them to appear, going from top to bottom in the motion of a windshield wiper. Be careful not to trap any pockets of air under the decal. This would create unsightly bubbles.
After you remove the top layer of paper, your letters will appear in place. Your new lettering will serve as a way for your customers to always have visibility of your company name, logo and/or products. It's really a great way to make a permanent mark in your community.
