Quality portable sign at half the cost

This Portable Roadside Sign is very readable and is great for displaying road side messages. The sign face is large enough for short effective messages yet small enough to be economically shipped by UPS and not a motor freight carrier. The sign is powder coated steel construction so it is very durable yet light enough that one person can move it around. The sign face is fastened to a metal frame. The metal frame's outside dimensions are 50-3/8" x 34" and the message board's visible opening is 47-5/8" x 33-5/8" and double sided. The message board frame can sit off the ground about 10 inches, 16 inches or 22 inches.

Sturdy Steel frame construction

The sturdy 22 gauge steel frame is powdercoated, so it won't rust. The black frame gives it a clean look, and the steel structure is sturdy and made for outdoor conditions of rain and wind. In stronger winds, consider sand bagging the T shaped bars at the bottom on the ground.

Includes 372 sign letters in tabbed storage box

Included with your sign is 1- 6" red letter kit and 1- 6" black letter kit totaling 372 characters. The portable roadside sign letter kit is a Helvetica Condensed characters screen printed with UV inks on white styrene plastic panel. The styrene is .020 thick. Includes black letters, red numbers and punctuation in an easy to use cardboard storage box with tabbed index.

The 6 inch sign sign letter kit contains 8ea- A E I O S, 6ea- P R T ampersand, 4ea- B C D F G H J K L M N U V W Y 1 0 comma exclamation, and 2ea- Q X Z 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 dollar cent period arrow dash percent quote question quarter half asterisk. This kit character is 5-3/4" tall on a 6-1/8" panel.

The faces are made from thick corrugated plastic and five rows of acrylic tracking. The acrylic tracking is designed for the natural bowing of the letters which are suppose to be slightly bowed 1/2 - 3/4 inch so that they stay put in the wind. Both of these materials are designed for long term outdoor use and the corrugated is much stronger with respect to wind. The white corrugated panel is easily replaceable and slide in at the top.
