Metal laminated acrylic sign letters are available in four thicknesses up to 1/2 inch and seven finishes. The laminate is real metal - a .025 inch layer of metal is bonded to a black acrylic base. The black acrylic base is pigmented solid through and through. The metal is designed for interior use but sturdy enough for some outdoor applications. A special lamination process greatly reduces deterioration and de-lamination caused by exposure to nature and the elements. The metal laminate is earth friendly - made from lead and mercury free materials, all fully recyclable.
The acrylic is solid pigmented acrylic through and through - no foam or hazardous PVC materials. The acrylic is a high density polyethylene, HDPE, which offers better rigidity and tensile strength. It offers high resistance to chemical sand corrosion, combined with UV inhibitors that help prevent colors from fading. Custom designed high speed 1000W precisely cut the letters and the lasers polish the edge returns of all letters as it cuts through the material providing a superior finish. Factory recycles and extrudes all scrap material.
