Stencils are designed for repeated use of the exact impression. The number of impressions depends on the thickness of the stencil material and how well you care for the material. Custom pavement stencils can be reused multiple times. It is best to store them flat and without any weight on it. There is some UV protection in them but direct sunlight or the back of a pick-up cab would cause them to crack. Thin custom mylar stencils can be reused only a couple times if you gently wash it after each use.

Alphabet Signs can provide price quotes for custom stencils based on an image file such as a .png, .pdf, or jpg. We can also produce production files from vector artwork such as .ai, .eps, .png, .dxf, or .dwg files. The stencil is cut from a computer driven plotter that follows a path. The path needs to have extra pieces, or bridges, so the stencil doesn’t fall apart. The stencil quote includes any production-ready artwork clean up.

With custom stencils, we can resize your design to fit within a required area, which cannot be done with standard letter kits. Logo stencils are also very popular because they reinforce your brand.

Alphabet Signs has a variety of fonts to choose from, both on and off of our website. If we do not have the font your are looking for, you can send us a vector file of what you need and we can cut your stencil from that.

Yes, you can include words with your logo. Unless the logo is too large, they can be placed all on one stencil. Otherwise, they will be on separate stencils for shipping purposes.

Custom stencil quotes are provided within one business day. If you decide you would like to order, we will then invoice you and email you a link to pay for it. Then, we will email a proof of your custom stencil that you can look over and request any changes before production. We are unable to produce custom designs until you pay for your order. You may cancel any time before production begins for a full refund. Once the design is approved, your custom stencils produced within one business day. Transit times vary 2-5 business days. Custom stencils are non-returnable.

Custom stencil prices vary based upon the size, thickness of the material, and the intricacies involved. Unfortunately, since these are custom made, we do not offer bulk discounts.
