Thicker aluminum is better

Our aluminum is 50% thicker than the competitors. We use a heavy gauge sign grade aluminum alloy that is long lasting and rust free even in harsh weather extremes. The ASTM 5052-H38 sign grade aluminum alloy is 12W x 18H and .080 inches thick and is not easily vandalized or bent. Our competitors signs are real easy to bend over and damage. The aluminum is cleaned and degreased, the corners are rounded, and the edges are smoothed to prevent injury.

Holes in sign for easy mounting

We also punch holes in the sign for easy mounting. The holes are 5/16 inch wide and are centered in the middle of the Parking Sign, top and bottom. These holes match standard sign posts.

Engineer Grade Prismatic (EGP) reflective background

These are the same signs used by professionals and government agencies. All parking signs must now be reflective, according to the Federal Highway Administration. These parking signs reflective background are made from 3M Series 3430 Engineer Grade Prismatic reflective sheeting. It exceeds ASTM D4956 Type 1 standards for retro reflectivity which is visible in daytime or nighttime from a wide range of angles. This product also conforms to USDOT FHA standard specifications for construction of roads and bridges on federal highway projects, 1985 FP-85, Type II, Section 718.01. The reflective sheeting is chemical resistant and can withstand temperatures up to 168°F.

Title 23 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 655.603 states that for the purpose of MUTCD applicability, the phrase "open to public travel" includes toll roads and roads within shopping centers, parking lots, airports, sports arenas, and other similar business and recreation facilities that are privately owned but where the public is allowed to travel without access restrictions.
