Your Traditional style marquee sign measures 48.5W x 60H x 6D and is single sided. The Traditional style marquee cabinet is built with ASTM 5052-H38 sign grade extruded aluminum alloy, which is a superior metal for signage because of its strength, hardness and corrosion resistance against weather extremes particularly in marine areas.
The cabinet is anodized dark bronze, an electro-chemical process, which embeds the colored dye into the microscopic pores in the aluminum surface of the cabinet. During the anodizing process, an aluminum oxide layer is created thus making the surface extremely hard. Anodic coatings provide good stability to ultraviolet rays. Rinsing with mild soap and water usually will restore the dark bronze anodized surface to its original appearance.
A slight pitched gable accents the sign cabinet where a small emblem or nameplate is added in a choice of our 11 translucent vinyl colors. The nameplate area is internally illuminated with a UL listed high output fluorescent bulb and zero degree rapid start ballast. It also includes an automatic photoelectric dusk to dawn sensor to keep your electric bills economical. The light shines down on the marquee area. The marquee is NOT internally illuminated.
The marquee area is constructed on a non-rusting aluminum marquee panel. Includes a kit of 420 aluminum changeable letters that are screen printed with a UV resistant contrasting color to make your message stand out. Letter changing is a snap because the letters have a folded lip along its top and bottom to easily hang on the grooved marquee panel. A crystal clear door is made from shatter-resistant Lexan and includes gas door lifters for easy opening. This sign is optionally available double sided which increases its depth to 10 inches and also includes an additional letter kit. Easy to follow instructions are included for installation by non-professional installers. Erection posts (not included) assemble on sign. A custom design will be emailed for your approval.
